This is about all the pictures we took of our Fourth of July celebration. We were at a parade in Lenexa. Unfortunately it was mostly political parties trying to get your vote. Very disappointing:( We were right by the train though, and that was a real treat for Caio. He LOVES trains. He was so fascinated when it came by that he didn't want to leave. Hailey was terrified because we were so close and it was loud and moving fast. She wouldn't look at it.
Some one in the parade was so kind and gave Caio a flag because she didn't have any candy to hand out!
At the end of Nana's stay with us, more family came out to pick her up. Here is Pa having fun with the kids. He doesn't get to interact with them much, so I was so excited that I got this picture of them having so much fun!
Caio insisted that Pa read to him! It was so cute!
We took the whole family to the Farmstead on their short stay with us. Hailey wanted to go down the slide so bad, but won't do it by herself. Tyalee is such an awesome cousin and went down with her a few times!
Caio was so scared of this bridge at first. He didn't like walking on it, and then a few minutes later he was running back and forth on it like it was no big deal :)
My nieces Maggie and Tyalee are taking a break with Hailey and my sister Shay.
It was really hot that day. They aren't used to the humidity, so it was probably more unpleasant for them than it was for us:)
Caio and Nana...So Sweet:)
JR was loving the little rocking horse! He is my sister Shay's little boy.
I don't remember what Hailey was asking me when I was taking this picture. It is always hard to get a good picture of her because she is so busy! What a cutie though!
JR also loved the fish.
The kids are always looking forward to the fish when we visit the farm.
At the end of our visit. The kids (Tyalee, Maggie, JR, Hailey, and Caio) were hot and ready for lunch, but we still managed to get them to all sit down for one last picture.
Saying Bye Bye to Nana. We sure enjoyed the time we had with her. We wished the rest of the family could have stayed longer. They were only here for a day and a half, but we were sure glad we could see them. We love our family and are always so excited when they come to visit!
