It was a hot and humid day:) The kids had rosy cheeks as soon as we got outside! Caio loved taking off and playing while we had our tailgate party with the school before the game. He was such a turkey!
Hailey and Wayne. What a good Daddy Daughter picture:)
Wayne and the kids in front of the fountains.
My turn in front of the fountains at the field:)
This is how Hailey was the entire game. Eyes shut tight. We got inside the stadium and she was terrified. Apparently, on our fourth game to the K, she decided to be scared of heights. She would not open her eyes the whole time, even to look at us. She eventually made herself go to sleep. Silly girl.
This is our funny attempt at a picture together! Love ya Babe:)
The night we went they had fireworks (they do every Friday night), celebrating 25 years since they won the World Series. Five guys that were in the Hall of Fame and played that World Series talked about how they won. It was amazing to hear how they were at the bottom, and still managed to win. There were also some celebrities at the game that night: Will Ferrell, Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd, and Jason Sudeikis. All of them are natives to Kansas City except for Will Ferrell. They were doing a charity event in KC, and so the natives got to throw out the first pitch. It was really fun. It always is. What was the most entertaining was watching Wayne run around with Caio because he wouldn't sit there without screaming and wanting to throw things. He was great at taking the little guy and letting him run around for a little bit. Thanks Babe, for a great day at the K.
