Winter Quarters

We took a trip to Winter Quarters Nebraska

on Tuesday. This is Caio giving me the "sick of

being in the car all day" look.

Hailey drove me crazy!! She couldn't make up

her mind about the movie she wanted to watch

and she was constantly throwing a fit or

yelling at me to do something. A typical

two year old:)

She got creative and started sticking her

crayons in her shoe:) She is always finding

special places for her toys.

Family picture in the beds the pioneers stayed in
while they were traveling on boats to get to America.
I couldn't ever sleep on that bed!! It was too hard!!
The pioneers were amazing! They suffered so much just so
they could be in Zion. What Faith!! It was a pretty fun trip despite
the long hours in the car.
We found some Cox names that were in the Mormon Battalion
and it got us excited about our family history. Hopefully
we will make time to find out more about our ancestors.
Our heritage is so important, and we are so grateful
that people kept records so that we can link our families
together through family hisory work and the Temple.
